Robert visits a pretty chilly Welsh hilltop to see the World’s first crowdfunded wind turbine being constructed by Ripple Energy.
We have been following Ripple’s story from the beginning and it’s incredibly exciting to see them reach this huge milestone of completing their first wind turbine owned by more than 900 members. This consumer ownership model allows everyone who has invested in the turbine to benefit from the renewable energy it creates, reducing their monthly bills and giving them the opportunity to generate their own green power.
