Is This $250k Electric HGV the Future of Long-Haul Freight?

Could this truck be a real diesel HGV killer?!

Imogen Bhogal travelled to Antwerp to take a closer look at the Windrose Global E700, an impressive electric HGV designed from the ground up for long-haul logistics.

With a staggering drag coefficient of 0.2755, rivalling some passenger EV, and a massive 700kWh LFP battery, this truck is built to handle 670km (460 miles) of range while fully loaded.

Unlike its rivals (*cough* Tesla Semi), Windrose has included a full sleeper cab without sacrificing efficiency, making it a practical choice for fleets with routes that require drivers to be on the road for weeks at a time. With a peak power of 1400hp and the ability to charge from 10-80% in just 35 minutes using Megawatt Charging (MCS), could the E700 disrupt the global freight industry?!
