The size of 31 football fields, it is home to the world’s best selling electric vehicle, the Model Y and can churn out an astonishing 500,000 of them a year. Tesla claims that this factory is their most sustainable and efficient Gigafactory to date and is jam packed with Tesla’s pioneering innovations including a 300 m long paint shop and the famous giga casting.
