Community Inspired, Self Powered Paradise?!?

In this week’s episode Robert went to visit Narara Eco Village at the edge of Strickland State Forest, New South Wales.

The village is home to 138 adults and children and is attempting to create a truly sustainable and resilient community through a high degree of self-sufficiency in areas like energy, food, and water. The aim is for homes to be built with a significantly reduced impact on the environment when compared to the “average” house currently built in NSW.

Join Robert as he speaks to Jon Ellis, Head of NEV Power which operates the village’s microgrid and community battery.
