The fully electrified Aston Martin Rapide-E on a hot lap at Monaco with Jonny.
British iconic car brand Aston Martin has embraced the world of electrification with news that their Lagonda name will return, but only as long range passenger EVs. This is Aston’s Rapide 4-door super saloon, which is shortly to go out of production (making way for new 4 door Lagonda models), but as a final edition they have replaced the V12 6.0 engine with a 600+ps electric rwd drivetrain. Jonny Smith heads to the Monaco Formula-E e-prix where Aston works driver (and LeMans 24hr champ) Darren Turner takes him for two hot laps in a car that Aston Martin are producing a limited edition of 155.
