So what’s new with Hyundai’s 2020 version of the popular IONIQ? We sent Rory to take it for a spin and find out if this updated version can rival Hyundai’s other in-demand EV – the Kona. The 2020 Ioniq has an upgraded battery, a new motor and delivers a 30% increase in range as well as design improvements and some well-thought out tech. It’s certainly a decent everyday EV for a reasonable price – but will this be enough to beat competitors in an increasingly crowded market?
