With Australians embracing electric vehicles at an unprecedented rate, Everything Electric AUSTRALIA is set to return to Sydney next month, running over three action-packed days from September 18th to 20th, 2026 at Sydney Showground. With this year’s event shaping up to be the biggest global show to date, Everything Electric SYDNEY will offer Australians a comprehensive look at how to electrify their lives while reducing costs.
Following the 2025 Sydney and Melbourne events, which attracted more than 50,000 visitors combined, organisers are expecting this year’s Sydney show to be the biggest Everything Electric event yet, as record EV uptake coincides with continued cost-of-living pressure and growing consumer interest in ways to reduce transport and household energy bills.
Created by the team behind the British-based Fully Charged YouTube Show and powered by headline sponsor carsales, Everything Electric SYDNEY will showcase more than 100 electric vehicle models, including cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, e-bikes, commercial vehicles and boats as well as the wider electrification ecosystem and technologies that help households to generate, store and use energy more efficiently.
Brands including BYD, Cadillac, Chery, Farizon, Forthing, Genesis, Geely, GAC, GWM, Hyundai, Icaur, IM, Lepas, MG, Omoda Jaecoo, Polestar, Subaru, Weichai and Zeekr will be exhibiting, with a number of brand new launches expected to be unveiled at the Show.
The event comes as Australia’s EV market reaches record levels, with 127,244 battery electric vehicles sold by the end of July 2026 (17.3% of total market share), already exceeding the 103,269 sold across the whole of 2025. The year to date results bring Australia’s national EV fleet to approximately 650,000.
Dan Caesar, Global CEO of Everything Electric, who will be in Sydney for the 2026 event, said record EV uptake and rising household costs made this year’s show more timely than ever.

THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE’S BIGGEST EV TEST DRIVE EXPERIENCE
A major feature of Everything Electric Sydney will be its EV Test Drive Experience, giving visitors the opportunity to compare and test drive a wide range of electric vehicles in one location. More than 100 electric vehicles will be available to test drive under one roof, with more than 7,500 test drives expected across the three days.
Electric motorbikes and scooters will also be available to test drive for those with the appropriate licenses, while visitors can also try e-bikes, scooters and skateboards on the Micro Mobility Test Track.

Everything Electric Sydney will also focus on the growing role of electrification in the home, as households look for ways to manage energy consumption and costs. The Home Energy section will explore the wider electrification ecosystem that helps households generate, store and use energy more efficiently.
Exhibitors will include Ausgrid, Origin Energy, Amber Electric and Schneider Electric, alongside companies showcasing solar, batteries, smart meters, EV charging, insulation and other home energy technologies.
Visitors will also be able to access free, one-on-one consultations with home energy experts, covering solar panels, battery storage, smart meters, insulation and practical ways to reduce household energy costs.
