Robert Llewellyn’s exhibition phenomenon – Everything Electric, powered by the Fully Charged SHOW YouTube channel – returned to London ExCel on 16th-18th April 2025, attracting a mixture of 21,142 consumer and trade attendees over three days.
These ‘festivals of electrification’ expos, which take place worldwide, are designed to enable consumers to test, try and talk through the technologies before investing in them. The latest event enabled more that 7,000 test drives and rides of various electric vehicles, from the latest electric cars to a variety of micro-mobility including scooters, bikes and skateboards. The events have also become the leading place to launch new electric vehicles and Everything Electric LONDON saw the launch of the Hyundai Ioniq 9, the MGS5 EV, Changan’s Deepal S07 and the Farizon SV electric van. Attendees also had the opportunity to test drive several electric vehicles for the first time, including BYD’s Sealion 7, Tesla’s updated Model Y and MG’s S5 EV. From the cleantech sector, numerous brands launched products at the event, including two new chargers from Humax, an indoor compact heat pump from Aira and new EV tires from ENSO.
At the heart of a content-rich programme, visitors benefited from three stages of talks with energy and transport experts, and Electric Fireside Chats with the Fully Charged SHOW founder, and ex-Scrapheap Challenge presenter, Robert Llewellyn, who interviewed the likes of world-leading YouTuber, Colin Furze and Bafta-winning presenter Maddie Moate.
MG’s Public Relations Event Manager Jasmine Jiang had this to say;
“Everything Electric LONDON continues to be an invaluable event for MG, attracting a diverse audience that includes both newcomers to electric vehicles and experienced EV drivers, some of whom are already proud MG owners. Across three days of the event, our test drive experiences for the new MGS5 EV, MG Cyberster, MG4 EV were fully booked, showing strong interest across the range. The newly launched MGS5 EV was a particular highlight of the show, with visitors noting its sleek exterior, stylish and spacious interior, and impressive boot capacity. MG is proud to support the Everything Electric show and recognises the vital role these events play in providing education and insight to the EV market.”
Simon Humphries, Retail Director, Humax EV Charging added;
“Everything Electric was the perfect platform this year for us to launch our brand-new Humax MX7 V2G-ready charger range – the first to be announced in the UK. The show was constantly busy and we were able to showcase the new products to customers, partners and media alike, alongside other leading EV industry brands.”
Dan Caesar, CEO of the Fully Charged SHOW & Founder of Electric Vehicles UK, had this to say:
“We are thrilled by the response of consumers and trade attendees to our second Everything Electric expo in London. The positivity was felt throughout the event from attendees and exhibitors alike, with engaged conversations, abundant lead generation and everyone leaving with key takeaways on how to begin or continue on their electric journey. We continue to be particularly proud of the UK events we deliver, especially as economic conditions in the electric vehicle and clean energy sectors remain challenging and we are now looking ahead to our second UK event in October at Farnborough International. In addition to the UK events, we have already delivered our biggest event to date in Sydney in March this year and will return to Vancouver this September and launch a brand new event in Melbourne in November.”
