Following a ‘supercharged’ second year which attracted over 17,000 attendees, Everything Electric AUSTRALIA (NSW) will return to the Sydney Showground on 7th, 8th and 9th March 2025. Organisers promise this will be the biggest and best year yet with more test drives, more exhibitors, more tech and even more consumers over the three days.

In addition to this, they have confirmed that a second expo will be launched in Melbourne in late 2025. Everything Electric AUSTRALIA (VIC) will take place at the Melbourne Showgrounds on 14th, 15th & 16th November.

With a high density of subscribers to the Fully Charged SHOW YouTube channel based in Australia, a second expo was a natural progression and Melbourne the chosen location due to location of these viewers.

As was the case with the Sydney expo, organisers are looking forward to working in partnership with the Victoria government to support their state and city led climate agenda for EV adoption, energy transition objectives for homes, and micro-mobility infrastructure advancements.

Fully Charged SHOW/Everything Electric CEO Dan Caesar had this to say:

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our second expo in Australia, coming to Melbourne in 2025. Our Sydney events have exceeded all expectations, and with the remarkable momentum behind electrification in Australia, expanding to Melbourne was a natural progression. Melbourne is not only home to a significant portion of our YouTube audience but also stands as a key hub of innovation and government support for clean energy. Choosing Melbourne Showgrounds as the venue for our ‘festival of electrification’ was an easy decision – its rich history in hosting large-scale events, combined with the infrastructure and location to support all elements of our show, makes it the perfect fit. From thousands of test drives to home energy solutions, micromobility, commercial vehicles, and more, we’re excited to bring a full range of innovations to the Australian market through this event.”

Regarding the choice of venue, Hannah von Bibra, Executive Manager – Client & Commercial Experiences at Melbourne Royal said,

‘We’re absolutely thrilled to host the Fully Charged event at Melbourne Showgrounds! It’s an exciting opportunity to showcase the latest in clean energy and electric technology right here in Melbourne. We can’t wait to see the innovation, ideas, and energy that this event will bring to our venue and the wider community!’

Samantha Johnson, CEO of Australia’s Electric Vehicle Council added;

“The growing momentum of electric vehicles adoption in Australia is an encouraging sign of our collective commitment to a cleaner, greener future. We fully support initiatives like the Everything Electric SHOW, which play a pivotal role in raising awareness and empowering consumers to make informed choices about electric mobility. The addition of a second show in Melbourne reflects the increasing demand and momentum in this space, and we look forward to the positive impact it will have on accelerating EV adoption across the country.”

The Everything Electric AUSTRALIA VIC expo will take place at the Melbourne Showgrounds on 14th, 15th and 16th November 2025.
