Everything Electric and Fully Charged is about to deliver its fifth exhibition of 2024 in the South of England, after several successful consecutive shows including in Sydney, London and Vancouver.

A consistent characteristic of the award-winning exhibitions is their ability to attract tens of thousands of repeat and imminent battery electric vehicle buyers. Consumers that come to consider purchasing.

However, unlike the fast growing markets for sales of battery EVs in Australia and Canada, British BEV sales have seen sluggish growth over the last 24 months due to economic and political headwinds.

While EV uptake in August was up again (22.6% of new car sales), and used EV sales were up too (>52% year on year), rampant misinformation has further hampered consumer confidence.

That more affordable battery electric vehicles are available than ever before, and the running costs of BEVs can also be several times lower than their ICE counterparts, is being lost in the fog of fake news.

To that end, Everything Electric SOUTH is launching a ticket trial, which effectively means that it is halving its pricing for the forthcoming exhibition at Farnborough International.

Attendees that wish to take advantage of this trial offer should visit the EverythingElectric.Show website to buy their tickets.

If you have already purchased your tickets for Everything Electric SOUTH at the higher rate, we will provide you with the option of free tickets to next year’s show in October 2025.

Dan Caesar, CEO of the Fully Charged Show, and Launch CEO of Electric Vehicles UK:

“As the leading market connectors between BEV manufacturers and BEV buyers, we are always looking for ways to educate the wider market.

With the likely return of the 2030 limiting of new car sales to battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid ICE vehicles, set against torrents of media misinformation, there is a clear opportunity to better educate the public about BEVs.

Our consistent experience is that more than 90% of BEV buyers won’t return to conventional combustion engine vehicles and there are many reasons as to why that is the case. Reasons that are not making it into the mainstream.

At Everything Electric SOUTH we will bring together almost every electric vehicle available (including bikes, vans and trucks), offer thousands of test drives, as well as talks from experts and with EV drivers and exhibitors too.

To enable as many people to access this information – the realities of driving electric – we are trialling a ticketing reduction to maximise attendance, and also enable people to bring EV-curious or EV-skeptic guests with them.

For £10 per person, per day, visitors will be able to access a wealth of information worth many times that. With regret we cannot give tickets away for free, as the percentage of people that take that offer then don’t attend would rise.

We also apologise to those that have purchased at the higher price – you will get an offer to have your tickets free for the 2025 show – and we hope that you agree that this is for the wider good.”
