Robert Llewellyn
Founder & Presenter
Robert Llewellyn is a British actor, presenter and writer, famous for his thirty-year stretch as the rubber-masked mechanoid Kryten in the much-loved science fiction comedy, ‘Red Dwarf’. With his interest in engineering, Robert then turned his hand to presenting the long-running TV gameshow, ‘Scrapheap Challenge’ and also ‘How Do They Do It?’ and ‘Carpool’.
In 2010, after being blown away by early Electric Cars, Robert launched Fully Charged, a YouTube channel focussing on the future of electric vehicles, of all shapes and sizes, and clean energy. Fully Charged has exceeded 55 million views around the world and Robert was recently acknowledged as ‘Tech Legend’ at the T3 Awards.
Maddie Moate
Presenter
Maddie Moate is a YouTube filmmaker and BAFTA winning presenter, passionate about curiosity. She is the host of the BAFTA nominated CBeebies series “Do You Know?”, BBC Earth's “Earth Unplugged” and CNBC’s technology series "The Cloud Challenge”. One of the only family focused “Edu-tubers” in the UK, Maddie has been creating educational online science content for the past 7 years and has amassed over 25 million views on her YouTube films.
Rory Reid
Presenter
Rory Reid is an award-winning automotive and technology journalist. He is the YouTube Director for Auto Trader UK, and is also known for presenting the BBC Top Gear and Extra Gear television shows, as well as for his work on BBC’s The One Show.
Rory began his career in technology journalism over twenty years ago as a staff writer for Personal Computer World Magazine, before moving to CNET UK and running the company's Car Tech division. He later became editor-in-chief for automotive start-up Recombu Cars before plying his trade at the BBC, and most recently Auto Trader UK.
Helen Czerski
Presenter
Helen Czerski is a physicist, oceanographer, writer and television presenter. She cares deeply about exploring the ideas and challenges in the physical world around us and her own research focuses on the physics of the ocean surface, especially the bubbles formed by breaking waves. She has lived and worked all over the world but is now based academically at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University College London.
Andy Torbet
Presenter
Andy Torbet is professional cave-diver, freediver, climber, skydiver and outdoorsman. He combines these into an actual job as an Explorer, TV Presenter, Film-Maker, Writer and Stuntman.
After 10 years in the British Forces as a Bomb Disposal Officer, Diver and Paratrooper Andy left to pursue a career in exploration and film-making. This has seen him on adventures around the world including freediving under the Alaskan ice, standing inside a 700 degree fireball, climb a 12 storey glass building, swim with sharks and cave dive around the world. He is a member of the Royal Geographical Society, The Explorers’ Club and represents Team GB at Speed Skydiving. He has written over 250 articles, one book and is an amateur father to two young boys.
Chelsea Sexton
Presenter
Chelsea has been accelerating electric transportation since cutting her teeth in the mid-1990s on the General Motors EV1 program. Her diverse adventures since have included co-founding Plug In America and directing an automotive XPRIZE to encourage development of compelling, highly efficient vehicles. Chelsea was featured in the Sony Pictures Classics documentary, Who Killed the Electric Car? and still works as an advisor, speaker, and friendly co-conspirator worldwide to make the movement of people and goods cleaner, safer, and more accessible.

Clean Energy promoter since 2005, Electric Car driver since 2015, Dan has 25 years experience in digital, events and media. Ben Bruton-Cox
Director of Production
Benjamin Bruton-Cox is a highly experienced Filmmaker and Editor who has worked on multi-million dollar feature films based in USA, BBC News, led a digital agency video department. After leaving London he spent 15 years as an independent filmmaker and successful business owner and now is the Director of Production and leads the Production Department within Fully Charged. Benjamin graduated with honours at the University of Gloucestershire. He has been with us since 2018 and loves bananas and yogurts.
Maia Fry
Production Manager
After many (many) years spent in London working in broadcast TV for all the majors (BBC, Channel 4, ITV) Maia moved to Bristol and has since taken her Production Management skills online, working for Fully Charged since March 2020.
Stuart Lanceley
Series Producer
If a degree in Physics hasn’t prepared Stuart for working at Fully Charged, perhaps his early days working on tv soap operas did! A filmmaker ever since, his work has been selected as ‘Vimeo Staff Pick’ and screened at the BFI London. With a passion for renewable energy tech and EVs, Stuart has worked for Fully Charged since 2016.
James Hankins
Post-Production Assistant
James Hankins has been working as a filmmaker/artist in Bristol for the past 10 years. Focusing mainly as a music video director, camera operator and editor. James studied Fine Art at The University Of West Of England. James has been editing for the Fully Charged Show since 2016.
George Collings
Production Assistant
George Collings is an experienced videographer, who has worked on a diverse range of projects as an editor and camera operator. George has two production companies specialising in documentary and commercial filmmaking and also has had the privilege of filming leading environmentalists, which has reinforced and inspired his belief in the issues we currently face.
Andrew Davies

Andrew Davies graduated with a BA (Hons) in Lens Based Media in 2019, helping with shoots across the past 3 years with Fully Charged Show he is now working as a Production Assistant and Camera Operator for the company.
Louis Pascoe

Our most recent recruit, Louis has joined Fully Charged and has jumped in headfirst to help produce podcasts and film a few of the latest episodes.
Sophie Perrygrove
Communications Manager
Sophie has worked in marketing and communications for over 16 years in a number of roles that include heading up the campaigns team at the British Library. After helping out initially with the Fully Charged LIVE shows she now manages the Fully Charged communications and is passionate about spreading the word on everything Fully Charged!
Paul Wood
Design Manager
With a fine/graphic art and coding background Paul has now over (gulp) two decades of immersion in the world of creativity and design. Communicating stories on a vast range of mediums in diverse sectors. He also has one daughter, two cats and a dog and most (if not quite all) games consoles.
Gina Cowan
Operations Manager
With over a decade of event management experience, Gina is the ultimate multi-tasker. Her expertise covers outdoor movie series to large scale music concerts; high profile industry awards to major exhibitions and everything in between. She’s delivered events for 50 people through to 45,000 across the UK, Australia and North America.
Ed Dark
Phygital Manager
Ed Loves technology, but more than that he loves to see how technology can be used to help make the world a smarter, greener place. Ed has worked in Live Event Production, AV and IT for more years than he’d like to admit!
Chris Broadbent
Commercial Director
Chris has over 20 years experience in the media and entertainment industry. He has worked at board level in a commercial capacity for a number of media businesses and owned several companies that produced magazines, events and web-sites. Previously an avid petrolhead, Chris is now an electric vehicle convert and proud Tesla driver. He lives in Wimbledon with his wife, two kids and his dog, Harley.

Christina Cheang

Christina (or Chris) began her EV journey working at PodPoint where she gained her knowledge and experience within the EV industry so the move to Fully Charged was a natural progression for her career. Christina is based in London but can be found travelling around exploring new places.
Laura Rivet
People Manager
Laura has worked in human resources, learning and development and organisational development for over 15 years in a number of roles including Director of People for the NHS. Laura is Fully Charged's part-time People Manager and is enthusiastic about supporting the people of Fully Charged!
