A comprehensive YouTube channel and series of live talks about battery technology and electric vehicles with a good dose of myth-busting, created by battery electrochemist Dr Euan McTurk.
Dr Euan McTurk is an electrochemist and electric vehicle battery engineer who has been driving EVs since 2009. Having seen several technical questions about EV batteries go unanswered at public information sessions, Euan launched Plug Life Television, a YouTube channel dedicated to answering the myths and misconceptions about battery technology and making some of their most technical aspects easy for everyone to understand. Series within the channel include:
- Under the Bonnet, which looks at EV battery misconceptions
- Watt Barriers, which shows how we can comfortably clear the hurdles to allow everyone to switch to EVs
- Plug Life Manifesto, pragmatic policies designed to accelerate the electrification and decarbonisation of all forms of transport
