Here at Zapmap we’ve been helping drivers make the switch to electric vehicles for over a decade, and we’re excited to be a Charging Partner for Everything Electric LONDON, taking place at ExCeL London from April 16th to 18th, 2025.
A lot’s changed since we mapped our first charge point back in 2012! We’ve seen over 75,000 charge points installed across the UK. The number of EVs on the road has grown rapidly with a record 69,000 EVs registered this March alone, and over a million drivers have downloaded the Zapmap app to help them find and pay for public charging.
With so much progress across the EV space, there’s never been a better time to celebrate the industry’s momentum, and that’s exactly what Everything Electric is all about.
From test driving new EVs to hearing industry experts share their thoughts on the future, the Everything Electric shows are a great chance for EV enthusiasts to come together and see first-hand what’s happening in the industry.
The Zapmap team will be there, and our co-founder and COO Melanie Shufflebotham will be taking part in two panels, one looking at what we can learn from the first 9 months of Labour’s ‘green transition’, and another discussing electrification as a safe bet for British growth.
Whether you’re already an EV driver, or you’re exploring making the switch to electric, here are three ways Zapmap can help you charge with confidence, wherever you go.
Putting every charge point in your pocket
The UK’s charging infrastructure has never been stronger with new charge points installed across the country every month. Whether you’re looking for the cheapest charger near your home, the quickest charger en-route, or even a destination where you can grab a coffee or lunch while you charge, our charging map is the most comprehensive in the UK. And with live availability and pricing in the app, you’ll know the charger you’re heading to is working, available, and matches your budget.
Making it personal
Come to think of it, 75,000 charge points sounds like a lot to choose from doesn’t it? That’s why we’ve built a range of filters so you can personalise your Zapmap experience to match your needs. You can filter by price, location type, or user rating, and find the right charge for you, every time.
Payment made simple
Most high-powered chargers allow you to pay with contactless payment or you can pay from the Zapmap app. You can add a payment card, or use Apple or Google Pay, and pay for your charging in the app with a couple of taps. We’ve doubled the number of charge points where you can pay through Zapmap in the last year, and we’re adding more every month. And if you’re a frequent charger, you can subscribe to Zapmap Premium and get discounted charging too!
With over a million registered users and an app store rating of 4.6, you can find out more about how Zapmap can help you charge your EV with confidence on our website, or keep an eye out for our team at Everything Electric LONDON.
