A carbon budget is an amount of carbon dioxide that a country, company, or organization has agreed is the largest it will produce in a particular period of time.

Carbon neutral is a term used to describe the action of organizations, businesses and individuals taking action to remove as much carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as each put in to it.

Carbon offsetting is the action or process of compensating for carbon dioxide emissions arising from industrial or other human activity, by participating in schemes designed to make equivalent reductions of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

A charge point is a mechanism for delivering the energy to a battery, usually in the form of a high voltage AC or DC supply.

Electric Vehicle charging speeds differ, sometimes significantly. As a rule of thumb they from trickle (2.3kW) to slow (7kW), to fast (50kW) and then rapid (150kW). However, charging capability is accelerating.

Often seen as a perceived stumbling block, charging infrastructure relates to the charge points that exist away from where EV drivers live. However, the speed of the infrastructure being built out is making charging less and less of an issue.
